Instructions:

We recommend using the following to sow the seeds:

Ponytail palms are easy to germinate and grow as houseplants, the main downside is how slow their growth is. They are very low-maintenance, preferring low watering, bright light, but not from direct sun(unless it's weaker sun rays), and only needs to be fertilized 2-3 times a year.

None germinated

I planted my seeds on 11/30/2024 and none germinated as of today. 47 days later. I soaked the seeds for approximately 12 hours. Planted in greenhouse pods and put them on a heating mat and under a grow light but nothing worked.

Waiting for my seeds to germinate

I love the pony tail palm! It’s a very cute plant. I’m still waiting to see if my seeds will germinate. Will update with pictures later if they do.

Healthy seeds!

Perfectly healthy seeds with a high germination rate. My seed starting try holds six seeds, and all 6 germinated rather quickly!

Easy to grow

The seeds were healthy and didn’t require any special care. II expected that a few wouldn’t survive, but I was pleasantly surprised with a high germination rate. I gave some of the seedlings to coworkers who admired the plants in my room, and they all tell me the ponytail palms are thriving.
