Instructions:

These seeds grow slowly, so we recommend using the following to sow the seeds:

Prep moist, well-draining medium consisting of a mix of potting mix and perlite and plant the seeds on the surface. Cover the seeds lightly with sand and make sure that the medium remains moist until the seeds germinate by covering the planter with a plastic cover(ziploc bag, plastic wrap, lid, etc). Keep the seeds around 70-80F and well lit. Most should sprout within 12 weeks, and if conditions are right, some can germinate within a couple of weeks.

Make sure the soil remains moist but not soggy. The older the seedlings get, the more you can allow the soil to dry out between waterings.

Lithops have their dormant season during summer, so it's best not to water them then. Keep them very brightly lit.

(Find more info on germinating seeds by going to our seed guide)

These seeds are for the 2024 growing season.

They were a gift!

The lithops seeds and most of the other seeds I ordered from you were a gift to a friend who needed some LIFE around her new house. I set her up with the seeds, trays and soil and full instructions. She has told me that all of the seeds are peaking out of the soil...and also that I will be receiving many plants once the seedlings are large enough to be repotted. LOL! I did keep the Calladium bulbs and they are beautiful! Thank you!
