Grow your own Monstera Deliciosa "Swiss Cheese Plant" with these quality seeds! Monstera Deliciosa is a unique and visually stunning addition to any home with it's large, glossy "swiss cheese" leaves.
Instructions:
Monstera deliciosa seeds do not store well, so if not planting right away, store in sphagnum moss in a baggie in the fridge to prevent rot and drying out. Germinating fresh seeds is easy and quick, and germination rates vary from 50%-100% depending on setup and freshness of the seeds.
To plant them, you can optionally soak them in warm water for 12-24 hours prior to planting. Sow them in moist potting mix, keep them covered with a humidity dome and consistently >70F, and away from direct sunlight.

I was skeptical about growing Monstera from seed, but these exceeded my expectations! Every single seed germinated, and now, seven months later, I have healthy, thriving plants. The growth has been impressive, and the leaves are starting to show that signature Monstera beauty. If you're patient and willing to care for them properly, these seeds are absolutely worth it. Highly recommend!
I bought my second pack of seeds in October. I used a dome and heat mat, but not a single seed grew. I reached out to Plantflix to see what could have gone wrong but never received a response. $15 down the drain and I’m weary to buy again.
This company and their detailed information on how to get your seeds germinated are absolutely incredible. I wasn’t expecting such a high germination rate (90%, meaning 9 out of the 10 seeds I received sprouted). I meticulously followed their directions, including pre-soaking the seeds, keeping them warm on a heat pad, and providing them with a grow light. What you see in my photo is my sprouts at just one month old. At this rate, I feel the rest is on me! I will continue to follow this site to the “T” in terms of making sure the sprouts are cared for as best as possible until this site no longer has any more guidance OR the plants are adults, whichever comes first! LOL I highly recommend this company and these seeds. Do what they say, and you should be successful.

how difficult are these seeds to grow?
Houseplant seeds are generally trickier to grow than your more common garden seed varieties- they require a specific setup and more time to sprout. You can find the difficulty for each seed variety specified under the "about the seeds" tab on each product page.

how long does it take for the seeds to germinate?
Houseplant seeds take longer than most seeds to germinate, the average time for germination is 2-3 weeks. If you're curious about the sprouting time for a specific seed variety, you can find that information in the "about the seeds" tab on each product page.
